Spring/Summer CLC Bloghop Day 7

One more day after today.  Boo-hoo, I don't want the CLC hop to end!

But today I have a bonus for you, this post has not one, but TWO cards.  So grab your cup and sit down and enjoy!

Can I start by saying I LOVE this card.  Those cute and tiny cups!  And they are perfect on the ephemera squares from the Pink Paislee Pick Me Up collection that I won from Super Sponsor Drive By Crafts.  I cut the cups from the same paper pack.  It makes me happy to read them, "Big Ideas... Coffee, Remember...Coffee, Goals...Coffee, The Sweet Life...Coffee (Or TEA)!"  The darling cups are actually charms!!!  They are from this darling die set from Karen Burniston shown below. And the background paper is velum with the sprinkles, so fun.  The twine from timeless twine is the perfect compliment.

This next card is a compliment to the first.  They make a nice 4X4 pair, perhaps a gift set.

This card features the same cute little die set from above.  Here you can see is being used as a charm (where as above, I cut off the circle portion that would make it a charm).  I used the same paper collection and twine.  This card also features the sentiment from Super Sponsor Neat & Tangled in gold.  This is laid upon the fun DP that supports the message that is cut from a circle die from Super Sponsor Lawn Fawn

I do hope you will come back tomorrow for a final post!

Spring/Summer CLC Bloghop Day 6

Happy Day 6!

Phew, this hop is keeping me busy!  I have hardly commented, I never get to them all or even close but I def have some ground to make up.  Wish me luck!

Today's card features this absolutely DARLING image from Super Sponsor Your Next Stamp.  I love this image because it is about as sweet as can be.  AND it reminds me a bit of my sweet daughter who just adores cats of all kind.  You can see her sweetness in her photo below. :)

I so enjoy coloring, my copics get more use that almost anything in my craft room.  After I colored this image I cut it using an MFT stitched rectangle die.  There is a bit of ephemera on the side from the Pink Paislee Pick Me Up Collection  On which I stamped the happiness sentiment from the YNS set.  The largest rectangle is from a Gina Marie Designs set. I have also included some twine from Timeless Twine. I just love how the design and color come together, so cute.

Have a wonderful day!

Spring/Summer CLC Bloghop Day 5

Wow, I can't believe the Spring/Summer CLC bloghop is a little more than halfway over already!  I am exhausted and sure could GOPHER a coffee...

Bu-dum-dum!  OK, I am totally cheesy, anyone who knows me is aware!  Sorry I didn't warn you first.

Today's card features the Gopher It! by Super Sponsor Gerda Steiner Designs.  This dude is adorbs and I love his glasses!  Super Nerdy Cute!   I colored him with my copics and mounted him on this yellow die cut oval from MFT.  On which I also put the die cut sentiment from Hello Bluebird.  This fun DP is from Photoplay and I cut it using my Super Sponsor Gina Marie Designs scalloped rectangle (which I use ALL the time!) and mounted on my white cardstock.

I feel like this is a good card for a guy.  I wonder, do you make many masculine cards?  Why or why not?

Thanks for stopping by!

Spring/Summer CLC Bloghop Day 4

Have you had enough of this hop yet?  HINT- the answer is NO WAY!  Me either, so let's enjoy a little more shall we?

Here is my card for Day 4.

This card seriously just makes me giggle.  I do love cute things and these trolls from Super Sponsor Craftin' Desert Divas nailed it!  The funnest (is that a word?) part is coloring the hair, which I did, along with the rest, using my Copics.  I am really into blue always, and right now I seem to be into yellow, so those are my primary colors.  The backdrop uses a cloud stencil and Distress Oxide ink.  On top of that is this fun die cut from Hello Bluebird.

I think I could hang out with that little dude and his HUGE cup of coffee while chilling in the sunshine.  How about you?
Thanks for visiting again today!  Happy Memorial Day to my US friends!

Spring/Summer CLC Bloghop Day 3

Here we are, day 3 of the Spring/Summer CLC bloghop!  What has been your fave things so far?  Mine has been taking extra time to indulge in a little coffee and crafting and seeing all the creations.  Now what I need to do is get commenting!  I never get through them all, but try to get to as many as I can.

So here is what I have for you today, a fun creation with a brand new stamp set I just purchased from Super Sponsor Drive by Crafts.  And also a sentiment from Super Sponsor Ellen Houston.

Now here is what I love about this card first and foremost, this gal reminds me of my friend Denise, who is sweet, kind and a total fashonista (not sure why she likes me since I am a frump! LOL)!  Such a beautiful woman and a beautiful image to use in her honor.  This image is from The Greeting Farm.  I stamped it on watercolor paper and used a combo of Zigs and Spectrum Noir  Aquablend pencils to give here these vivacious colors.  The background is also WC paper, I added some SN sparkle pen to the background and cut in these butterflies from the Crafter's Companion/Sara Davies Flutterby Collection.  (The great thing about this die is that you get to keep the butterflies and use them on something else!)  Lastly, I stamped the sentiment using a stamp by Julie Ebersole for Ellen Houston.

Here is a close up so you can see the butterflies a little better with the white behind.

This isn't my typical style, I usually go for building scenes, but I am happy I tried something different and like the outcome.

Time to get on back to the hop and see what new creations ya'll have been making!

Cup of Columbine (CLC Day 2)

Welcome to day two of the Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Bloghop!  I have something here that will perk you right up and make you feel good.

This image from Power Poppy- Cup of Columbine is beyond stunning!  For those who love coloring it is the perfect canvas.  I love each flower, each shadow, I love every bit of it. I colored my image with my Copics and cut it out using my Scan n' Cut.  The background is Kraft paper, on top of which is some DP from the Crafter's Companion Rustic Wedding paper and the final layer is the Kaisercraft Sketched Rectangle Decorative Frame cut into woodgrain paper.  Lastly, I put the sentiment on white and used my distress ink.

Here is another look.

I just swoon every time I look at this image.

Also entering this into the Card Concept Challenge #93- floral centerpiece.

OK, hope you are enjoying the CLC blog hop and all the fabulous creations and super sponsors!

Spring/Summer CLC Blog Hop!

Welcome, Welcome!  The most anticipated event of the year is here!  That's right, it is time for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Bloghop.  WOOHOO!  We have some amazing sponsors lined up and the CLC team has some super cool cards!  So... let's get started shall we....

Here is my first card for the hop.

This card is so bright and happy, it just makes me smile.  Those little peeps are adorable!  Even their drinks are cute!  I'll take the one on the left if you please- iced mocha.  mmmmmm....  I like to imagine this as me and my husband on a hot summer day (I am thinner here and he has more hair! LOL).

I colored the Super Sponsor Pretty Pink Posh Summer Friends stamp set using my Copics.  I mounted them on this fun rainbow paper that I cut using my Avery Elle Wonky Stitches die.  I placed the cute peeps inside this die.  I took the sentiment and cut in to the shape I wanted and used my ranger distress ink to add the yellow.  And done, easy peasy.

Head on over to the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog to join the fun!

Hello Chum

Happy Tuesday!  I was feeling just a little snarky when I woke up this am and so…. I thought I’d share it with you today! SOOOO LUCKY! J

But seriously, I had so much fun making this card and it is not my typical style, so wanted to share.

This card features Avery Elle Stamps.  I am thrilled with how the coloring came out with my Copics on the shark and all the other elements.  The background is an Echo Park Stencil (love the little fishies) and I used a variety of distress inks.  Those tiny fish remind me of Nemo meeting the gang of sharks with Bruce as the leader.  I still remember the pledge, “Fish are friends, not food.”  Lol

I am entering this into:

Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers #110- I is for Inky

Thanks for visiting!

Hip Hip Hooray... for belated birthdays

Well I have been a bit remiss in getting out my birthday cards on time.  I am sorry to my friends. I  have gotten them out but not on time- doh!  So here is a shout out to two of those friends and the cards I sent them.

This first card was for Miss Kimberly.  She is a mad crafter and amazing with her watercolors.  The bright colors on this card make me think of her lively and fun personality.

This card features Waffle Flower monkey and strawberry colored with Copics.  Behind the sweetie is a Gina Marie Designs Die over some Penny Black Designer Paper.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

This card is for my friend Kerry.  She is fun loving and makes some quirky and cute card designs that I love.  The girl has flair for sure and I love her obsession with Halloween.

This card features an Avery Elle Stamp set.  Colored with Copics and also paper pieced.  The DPs are a variety of things.  The cutie is sitting on a Smash journal card.  The yellow polka dotted paper is also cut using Gina Marie Dies.  My fave bit on this one is the little poof ball on his hat.

So ladies, Happy Belated Birthday and sorry for being tardy!

Entering these two into Seize the Birthday Challenge.

You are the PIna to my Colada!

Got to spend some time with my bestie and her kiddo a few weekends back.  Took the families to Great Wolf Lodge.  We loved every moment!  Here is a pic of the kiddos playing:

We have plenty of serious moments but mostly moments were we spend our time laughing at all kinds of things.  I am so thankful to have her in my life.  So here is a funny card that is perfect for us.  I sent this card to her a while back and am finally getting around to sharing it.

This features Stamping Bella's Squidgie's stamp colored with Copics.  She is the coconut (blondie) and I am the other. Inside the sentiment say's, "You are the Pina to my Colada!"  To accent that sentiment, I added the coconut drink from Your Next Stamps set.  The journal card is from Pink Paisley and the white is cut using Gina Marie Designs dies.  I just love starfish embelishments.

LB/SW, you know I love you and thanks for the shared vacay!

CLC and Joy Clair

Welcome to the last stop on the Joy Clair and Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog hop!  I hope you have had fun so far! You should have arrived here from Kathy Schweinfurth's blog.

Here is a close up of my card.  It feels just right and delectable for every day of the week.

This card is fun and what is most fun, is that this is the Christmas Cocoa set.  So versatile, you don't even need to use it for Christmas!  See!  I stamped the mug and paper pieced using some Echo Park paper.  Behind is an Echo park journal card.  I stamped, colored and added the whip and marshmallows.  The backdrop is an Avery Elle die.

Now I hope you hopped along the way so you can try your hand at winning the fabulous prize being offered by Joy Clair!

Thank you so much for your visit!
